ClockOn privacy principles
This build is designed to collect location only at defined timesheet events rather than continuously tracking workers.
Data collected
ClockOn can store account details, company membership, work references, server timestamps, GPS coordinates and accuracy, expected visit duration, lone-worker safety status, timesheet calculations, manager adjustments, notifications and audit records.
Location and safety data
The staff PWA requests a fresh location when a worker records a main event such as Setting Off, Arrived, Leaving Job or Finished. Where timed lone-worker checks are enabled, ClockOn also stores the expected visit end time and whether a safety alert was triggered. The application is not designed to run continuous background location tracking.
Company responsibility
Companies using ClockOn are responsible for configuring their employment, monitoring, retention and privacy practices appropriately for their workforce and legal obligations. The included employee-monitoring page is a product template and should be reviewed before production use.
